Onetime NBA draft pick James Nnaji drew plenty of boos in his college debut with Baylor at TCU. The 7-foot center from Nigeria finished with five points and four rebounds in the Bears' 69-63 loss to the Horned Frogs.
The reason so many college coaches made a big deal about the addition of 2023 NBA Draft pick James Nnaji to Baylor’s roster was because of the precedent that it set; it wasn’t because of Baylor gaining a huge competitive advantage. James is expected to be available to play, but it is not guaranteed. The Bearcats are favored by 21.5 points vs. Alabama State.
The Arkansas Razorbacks finished the nonconference slate with a blowout win over James Madison. Focus now shifts to the SEC and Tennessee this weekend.
