Licensed child care programs that are currently participating in Parent Aware are required to use Develop. Their lead providers and teachers must have current Individual Memberships in Develop and must identify their current employer by license number.
It's free, and you can apply directly from your Develop Individual Profile. Membership applications and documentation, like college transcripts, are reviewed and processed by Achieve MNCPD (mncpd.org).

Procedures Pre-admission Before admitting a person to the program, the program must provide the following information to the person or the person’s legal representative: Identifies the criteria to be applied in determining whether the program can develop services to meet the needs specified in the person’s support plan.
Log back into Develop with your email address and the password to create your Develop Profile. A profile needs to be created so that a Develop ID can be assigned to your account. Enter the requested information to create an Individual Profile or locate an existing profile and select Next.
The most effective LACs develop plans that include all three of these primary roles and meet at least on a quarterly basis in order to review, evaluate and recommend.
Based on this review, the license holder must develop, document, and implement a corrective action plan designed to correct current lapses and prevent future lapses in performance by staff or the license holder, if any.
