Solidworks still responds to my 3D mouse and keyboard commands, and it will allow my to switch between open Solidworks windows if I select one from the Windows taskbar, but it won't recognize any other input from my regular mouse. I also don't seem to be able to open up any other files in Solidworks while this is going on.

After a computer crash that happened about a week ago, I've had a semi-persistent issue leaving me unable to launch Solidworks. When I open Solidworks, the splash screen gets to "Loading registry", pauses for several seconds, and then closes.
Another issue i've noticed with 2025 latest SP is the following, has anyone noticed this also? Shaded With Edges and High Quality are both selected by default, but the image on the screen and when saved as a PDF are without edge lines. To get it to work properly, I need to click on each drawing view separately, click Shaded Without Edges and then back onto Shaded With Edges. Many thanks in advancw
Comment: Test 2 shows, when opening assembly documents, SOLIDWORKS will use slightly more GDI objects and User Objects compare with opening the part and drawing documents.
After updating to 2025 SW, saving files 'As PDF' seems to not show any of the picture objects that have been inserted into the drawing. It will export images if pasted from windows clipboard. Using the print -> microsoft print to PDF does work. This seems like a bug preventing the save-as->PDF to not include the Picture obejcts, while the print to PDF allows it. Anyone have any experience with ...

When i look in the vault for particular files, they do not show up. if i try to save the file i am looking for to the vault, it tells me the file already exists yet it does not display in file manager or solidworks open command. even if i search for the files they do not display.
