2 Configuring and Building ITK
Besides the toolkit proper, ITK also includes an extensive set of examples and tests that introduce ITK concepts and show how to use ITK in your own projects. Some of the examples distributed with ITK depend on third party libraries, some of which may need to be installed separately.
